5. Travel Clock with Hands
Take with you a travel alarm with movable hands that can be applied in class to practice telling time.

6. Play Money
It is possible to buy play money at any department store in the children's toy section. They can be applied for many activities, you can practie numbers, count, use as prizes in class competitions and apply as”going to a shop activity”.

7. A Cassette of Radio Broadcasts
Bring some cassettes of NPR, CBC or BBC news broadcasts or feature programs. Have weather forecasts and business reports on the tape. Such authentic material can be excellently applied for listening.

8. A Cassette or Burned CD of Songs
Using songs in English, you will enlarge the students’ vocabulary and idiomatic expressions and show them the examples of proper grammar usage. Songs are excellent for good pronunciation practice. You may apply a popular teaching song "Material Girl" by Madonna; it contains some fun idiomatic expressions and can be discussed through the point of view of materialism. Songs present new topics for discussion. It is recommended to choose songs where the vocals are mixed way up front and the singer's enunciation is clear. You may choose pop music, but other kinds of music can also be applied.

9. Minicassette Recorder
It can be applied for recording unrehearsed conversations with your collegues. You can record your students for further listening and analyzing of their spoken English.

10. Books
Books take much space, but some should be taken, because you do not know what resources can be available at at your teaching site. You may have a need for a grammar reference either. The recommended books are Raymond Murphy's Grammar in Use, Intermediate Level and Penny Ur's Grammar Practice Activities containing many good ideas for fun grammar-related activities and games.
