Course Description
The CELTA course will help those who want to work as an English teacher to adults but do not have either experience or any teacher profession diploma. CELTA Course is strongly practical, with daily teaching practice. The CELTA is recognized internationally and over 7000 people take the course every year worldwide.

Course Content:
- 60 hours of "input" (demonstration and discussion of teaching techniques plus language awareness activities);
- daily teaching practice;
- 8 hours observation of experienced teachers.

Employment prospects in Poland
Today Polish labor market is open for newly qualified teachers. Naturally, schools start searching teachers in about June, work starts in late September. Sometimes, it is possible to pick up work there on completion of the course. TEFL Job opportunities do exist still in the autumn, but your choice of schools will be more restricted.

School Details - Wroclaw
History of International House School began in 1994. Today the school building is placed in the centre of the Old Town. The school has eleven classrooms, including a computer room, a teachers' room, a resource centre and a small students' library. There is a second teaching site with six classrooms a ten-minute walk from the main building.
The teachers are highly qualified and attentive. The school has adult classes at all levels from beginners through to Proficiency, plus a young learners department for children from the age of five upwards. The school has also a social programme that includes Kids' Club, Conversation Club, seasonal parties and events.

Admission requirements:
Both native speakers of English and non-native English speakers are allowed to get the course. Important is:
- a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English;
- university graduation (as usual);
- at least 20 years old by the date of the start of the course.
