The CELTA courses in Sydney are offered by the International House Sydney – Teacher Training & Professional Centre (TTPC) a specialist TESOL teacher training centre of the International House World Organization (IHWO), which is the most reputable and the biggest network of language schools in the world. Course Description CELTA may be taken as a full-time 4-week or a part time 12-week course. The classes include maximum of 6 students. Course Assessment There is no formal final test. The trainees are assessed continuously during the course. The trainers constantly provide the participants of the course with the feedback and written commentaries to their performance. Both written assignments and practically conducted classes are evaluated.
The candidates who successfully meet all the required criteria receive the Cambridge CELTA. The certificate’s grades are “Pass”, “Pass B”, “Pass A” or “No Certificate Awarded”. The successful trainees additionally to the CELTA certificate receive report from International House where their performance and achievements are described. The report is a useful reference when applying for a job.
